I've gathered all the various rumours flying around to gather together the facts that we know so far.

STATS SO FAR

• Same 61MP sensor because all the power goes to the new processor.

• A new Bionz XR processor

• TOTALLY New Autofocus system with AI deep learning

• 8k 24p cropped sensor

• 4k 60fps full sensor (9.6k oversampled)

• S-cinetone is available

• 8-stop IBIS

• With or without lens stabilization combination is unclear and if it's “native” or with “gyro data

• New autofocus with AI processing engine & AI deep learning software

  • recognises different objects

  • humans

  • animals

  • insect

  • birds

  • wildlife

• Improved dynamic range

• Improved ISO performance

• EVF (electronic viewfinder) is resolution is expected to go from 5.44-million dots to 9.44-million dots. EVF may have a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels

• Body looks like a mix between the Sony A7sIII and Sony A7IV.
